Pastoral Care
Care for one another's physical, mental, and spiritual needs is central to who we are as a church. We seek to foster mutual pastoral care among all our church members.
Pastoral care is overseen by our pastoral care team of clergy and lay people. Visitors are available to visit or talk with anyone living in our benefice, whether they attend church or not. We are always glad to hear about anyone who would like to be visited, or who would like to go on our prayer list and be prayed for in church. We can also contact hospital chaplains to let them know about someone admitted to hospital-- please let us know if we can be of assistance in this way.
Sacraments for Wholeness and Healing
Communion at Home: If you cannot get to church through sickness, we are very glad to be able to bring you Holy Communion at home. This is available for those who are unwell for a short time, as well as those who would like communion over a longer period of time. Click here to find out more.
Confession: Confession, or the Sacrament of Reconciliation, is available on request. It is particularly recommended during Lent, as part of every Christian's preparations for Easter. Click here to find out more.
Anointing of the Sick (Unction): Anointing of the Sick is a sacrament of the Church. Anyone wishing to receive this may contact Beryl Hill on 01235 813073 or one of the clergy, who will be happy to answer any questions about this ministry.
